Payment statuses explained

When you run payroll in Bitwage Business, each payroll moves through a set of statuses so you can track progress from creation to completion.

Status definitions

Created

Meaning: The payroll has been successfully created in Bitwage.

What to expect next: Funding still needs to be sent (or confirmed) for Bitwage to process payouts.

Received

Meaning: The payment/funding has been received by Bitwage.

What to expect next: Bitwage will match the received funds to the payroll you created.

Approved

Meaning: Our team has matched the payment received with the payroll created by your company.

What to expect next: Payouts begin processing to recipients based on their selected allocations.

Fulfilled

Meaning: All recipients in that payroll have received their payment according to their selected allocations.
