How long does it take to process a Bitwage payment?

You've been sent a payment and it hasn't been credited yet!

The processing time for a Bitwage payment can vary depending on several factors, such as the method used by the client/employer to send the funds, whether you are subscribed to the Premium Plan and your allowances.

In general, the time for a payment to hit the bank is 24-72 hours (business days) once it reaches the bank. Bitwage may process it an additional 24 hours (depending on whether or not you are premium) before sending it to your wallet or bank account.

What days are considered business days for Bitwage payment processing?

Bitwage operates on business days, just like banks. Therefore, weekends will not be counted as business days for payment processing.

What are the different statuses a payment goes through at Bitwage?

A payment goes through three statuses once it reaches the bank:

Received, Processing and Complete.

Received: Indicates that the payment has arrived in the Bitwage bank account. -

Processing: During this period, the payment is being processed and will be sent to your wallet within 24 hours.

Complete: In this status, the payment has completed processing and has been sent to your wallet or bank account.
